I have tried for some time to obtain industry statistics regarding injury, death and abuse related to the Family Court System and all who work professionally under the umbrella of the Upper Law Society of Canada.
The Law Society of Upper Canada appears to be the "only" area of industry not being statistically recorded regarding any professional performance related incident that resulted in a human loss of some sort.
The suspected basic losses are as follows
-Capital or financial loss
-Child custody and/or access
-Child abuse and/or death
-Parental abuse and/or death
Please read carefully:
If abuse and/or death took place while a case was legally before the family courts, or took place within a reasonable time frame related to family court involvement then we would like that information and/or your story.
The overall time the case was before the courts is irrelevant as long as the case in question was recently before the Family Courts, within a reasonable time frame regarding any abuse or death related incident.
Please contact us by way of our contact page for further clarification if required.
Statistics Canada appears to have done their best to provide requested information but is suspiciously lacking in specifics.
Justice Canada Statistics was unable or seemingly unwilling to provide any information regarding death or abuse related to on-going Family Court matters past or present.
Justice Canada Statistics has indicated that the reason for the lack of statistical information is a result of regular annual survey questions having been presented to police departments accross Canada not including questions in relation to the family courts.
Help me get the information needed in order to begin rebuilding the legal core system as needed.
If this request involves a personal experience please consider making this painful information-based contribution.
Otherwise, without your knowledge or experience we may never find the information that can help us all.
DID YOU KNOW that many women are presently living in extreme danger from abusive ex-partners because they are unable to access the courts in a reasonable time frame in order to get the protective orders they desperately need to properly protect both their self and their children.
In many cases these women go months without any legal assistance. And sadly, many of these cases end horribly, and often before the children’s eyes.
HELP get and gather the information needed to legally rebuild this seemingly savage and broken system; to start replacing it with a new and modern, fully accessible family court system that is designed to serve the best interest of children, mothers, and fathers.
As you read this, a person is dying, in a NOT SO peaceful and pleasant, natural way ...and its likely happening closer to you than you think!
Information is the key, help me get the industry information we're all entitled to and then unlock the door to a better way of doing things.
